6 Fibromyalgia Remedies that Boost Metabolism

6. Apply Capsaicin to Areas of Pain

Capsaicin is derived from pepper plants, and when applied to a painful are of the body, it can release substance P, a body chemical that reduces the sensation of pain. This can make coping with fibromyalgia much more simple. When ingested, capsaicin (which is present in cayenne pepper) can heat up the body and burn more calories, giving your body a metabolic boost.
